I like the one of the hands at the keyboard-- it's so delicate, with the detail of the ring. And I also really like the last one-- it draws me into the room and makes me want to know what is going on there.
Thank you very much, Julia! I really appreciate your kind and insightful comments. I couldn't help but notice on your profile that you have Flannery O' Conner's Short Stories, The Brothers K, etc. listed as favorite books - how wonderful to find a fellow fan of such literary gems! Blessings, -Maddie
These are really wonderful photos, and very nice to look at as a series. The one with the hands is one of my favorites as well. But I also absolutely love the contrasts and details of the first one looking up.
Thank you, Manuela! I greatly appreciate your kind and encouraging comments. I really enjoy shooting black and white, so this series in particular was quite a treat. Thank you again!
Hi Maddie! Thanks for joining again. I also like the hands shot--the depth of field is great. But I also like the last one, you caught such a great moment, and the composition is good too--the woman on the left the wall on the right, giving space to the image. All in all, very nice!
Marfa, thank you so much for your comments! I greatly appreciate them. I am indeed! My family and I converted to Orthodoxy on Holy Saturday, three years ago now. What a joy it is to encounter others who share in the faith.
